Things that got up my nose today:
LNG protestors. Not that they protest, it is their insufferable belief that they and they alone inhabit the moral high ground and that gives them the right to break the law and run up huge policing bills we have to pay for.
Kenny Jackett sacked as Swansea City manager. The team are just outside the play-off places, for goodness sake. And they are talking of Colin Addison to replace him. Barmy!
The criticism of the Welsh team going for a drink after the Scotland game. What, we want them to be monks as well as heroes now? Have a pint on me lads.
People complaining that taxpayers money is being spent to train council staff to enforce the no-smoking in public places law. Peanuts to the money we will save the NHS with the expected reduction in smoking.
Peter Hain apologising on behalf of the Welsh and Northern Irish people (strange mix) for our part in the slave trade. What on earth is that all about? Apologise on behalf of the British government by all means, but leave me out of it please.
