I have my doubts about the need for a laned roundabout at MacDondals, but I'm willing to be convinced it has improved traffic flow.
I'm much more sceptical about the Merlins Bridge lights, which are set up in such a way as to virtually make you drive through a red light to avoid causing an enormous traffic foul-up.
But I give in over the Scotchwell temporary traffic control system.
Last time I went through it the green Go sign was showing in at least two directions at the same time - with a warning to give priority to traffic from the right!
Isn't that what you are supposed to do at a roundabout anyway?
