Today I joined twitter.. It's a bit like facebook but much simpler! Twitter is an online social networking site where you simple sign up, then update your day in a quick sentence. It then adds it to your blog, facebook profile, friends mobiles and all other manor of oddities.
A few years ago when I first ventured into the internet, I was surprised at how much information there was. Now I am surprised as how many ways to access information there are.
We've never been so connected. I was amazed to see even Pembrokeshire Council has a twitter profile! I'm lost as to why they have one, or what it is used for but I'm proud that our county has a voice on twitter.
The one thing that concerns me in this rush to embrace the modern age of communication. If I have a twitter profile, does this make me a twit? I've opened myself up to comments there!
