It's nearly March, so here comes the start of many blog articles about gardening I'm afraid. I have posted a shorter version of this in my personal blog, so apologies for readers of both.
The photo here is of one of our windows, we have leeks, tomatoes, kale, cabbage, lettuce, various herbs, potatoes, onions, peppers, cabbage, spinach beet, radishes, brussel sprouts, cauliflower and chillies. Just waiting for them to sprout now.
Outside we have two blueberry bushes, one blackcurrant bush, and two varieties of raspberry bushes all in containers, not to mention the blackberries, tayberries and sloeberries all around the garden border. Our daffodils we planted are starting to come out and we have various climbers, and multi-coloured border plants germinating too.
We've split the duties, Michael is in charge of all vegetables, while I am in charge of fruits, (including chillies, peppers & tomatoes) and decorative plants.
It's lucky we have such large window sills here, the photo is from the living room, in the studio I have a box of potatoes we are sprouting before using a grow sack.
I'll keep you posted as the crops develop. So far the Greyhounds have chewed one of the blueberry branches but not much damage.
