Sorry for the lack of activity here in my corner of the Western Telegraph, it is due entirely to having too many things to do and not enough hands to type.

Here's a quick round up: Garden: We've now transplanted our shallow rooted vegetables into grow bags under a small polytunnel we found in Haverfordwest for £4.99. Since then the slugs have been at work, but our trick of raising the growbags on a layer of pebbles seems to have worked. All our tomato seeds have produced a plant, so we've been distributing them around friends and family, keeping five back to also go into growbags. Cauliflowers are still in the greenhouse, but we'll put them out last week. Finally the 50 odd Daffodil bulbs we planted last year have all burst into colour. More news to come on these.

Sailing: I have a small Folkboat called Shoestring down at Neyland. With the in-laws up for the weekend we decided to take them out for a sail. -The first sail of the 2009 season. A lovely trip up to Lawrenny and back with a picnic abroad. Would have been ideal were it not for a shakle giving out on the way back sending the headsail flying all over. Everyone seemed to enjoy the trip out though.

Pembrokeshire: Art project of painting every corner of pembrokeshire in full swing, I've got Woodstock, Newport and Llys y Fran covered, and I'm currently working my way around Strumble Head to St Davids.

Astronomy: Some great views this last month, I managed to get a great view of the recent comet Lilu and just last night the orion nebular became just visible to the naked eye. My aim over the next four months is to attempt a closer study of Mars as it become visible together with working on a larger study painting of Ursa Major both with the camera and in paint.

And of course I also aim to update here more often!
