In the early days of last week a rouge squadron of Slugs planned and undertook a daring raid on the Polytunnel.

Casualties were plentiful with reports of fallen radish, spinach, cauliflower and Kale.

After this raid there was undertook a loose ground peg appeared to be their entry point. This has now been fixed.

As if slugs was bad enough (They've also eaten half my daffodils.) We've had de-hydration in the mini-greenhouse from the tomatoes during the recent lovely weather. Not a problem in itself but after watering on Thursday I closed the zip doors to the PVC contraption to see all the shelves collapse down on top of each other with a rather well choreographed sound. Emptying out all the soil from the tomato seedlings.

This morning saw the latest assault on our garden. Having survived the winter storms and near gale winds last night the mini-greenhouse decided to commit mutiny, tipping it;s self over in the wind, spraying it's contents across the gravel area in the garden.

I think re-enforcements by the way off a stronger mini greenhouse or perhaps a cold-frame should be sought out.

More garden updates as they come.
