Today I harvested 2 strawberries and a couple of broad beans they all tasted fantastic. If I was depending on my abundant harvest I would be very thin by now. The good news is that my cherry tree has doubled its fruit this year two cherries. Last year it had one cherry, which I waited for, to ripen, little did I know some crafty bird was waiting as well, and the bird beat me to the harvest. Also this year my cherry tree was attacked by a biblical plague of black fly, which I repelled with fairy liquid and a pair of pruning shears. Horrible little things (the flies not the shears) My courgettes are looking healthy they seemed to appear overnight. My rhubarb is so large and dense, its like a tropical rainforest,I will have to make an expedition into to it, to see if I can find Charlie pug, who was swallowed by it. I hope it is Rhubarb and not a giant carniverous plant, "poor charlie".
I think I have planted too many cabbage plants, I might get to like cabbage. The tomatoes are worse than the rhubarb they seem impenetrable. I have not seen my Bee for a couple of days mabe its gone on holiday or tucked up in its bed with bee flu or something. I hope it comes back.
