A FISHERMAN who was taken ill out at sea was brought back to shore by lifeboat yesterday (Wednesday).
Tenby's relief all-weather lifeboat was launched at 6.10pm at the request of Milford Haven Coastguard, after it received a report that the man has suffered a suspected cardiac arrest. He was on board a fishing vessel seven miles south of Caldey Island.
The lifeboat was quickly on the scene and took the casualty aboard before making best speed back to Tenby and the waiting ambulance paramedics.
