Four young men have this afternoon (Monday) admitted dangerous driving that led up to a serious crash on the A40 just outside Haverfordwest.
Edward Adams, 19, and James Adams, 22, both of Thornton Road, Steynton, Stephen Murray, 23, of Lawrenny Street, Neyland and Ieuan Power, 18, of Harbour Close, Neyland, were due to stand trial at Swansea crown court today having entered pleas of not guilty.
But after deliberating with their barristers they changed their pleas to guilty.
All four were immediately banned from driving.
The length of the bans will be determined at the sentencing hearing.
Scott Beavis, aged 21, of Skomer Drive, Milford Haven, admitted the same charge at an earlier hearing.
All five will be sentenced on December 22 following the trial of the remaining two defendants, Ian Lloyd, 22, of College Park, Neyland, and Jack Murdoch, 18, of Main Road, Waterson.
They have maintained pleas of not guilty.
Their trial will begin tomorrow (Tuesday) and verdicts are expected early next week.
The charges follow a head on collision between a Citroen Saxo driven by Beavis and another vehicle on Arnolds Hill, near Haverfordwest, on August 11 last year.
All of the defendants are currently on bail.
