Tributes were paid to service personnel on Saturday as the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock communities attended the Armed Forces Day celebrations.
Veterans, members of the 14th Signal Regiment and a marching band took part in a parade along Bush Street to Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre.
“There was a good turnout and a good display,” said Pembroke deputy mayor David Boswell. “It was a very successful day.”
A service took place at 11am and mayors of both towns did a reading following the parade. Dennis Evans, mayor of Pembroke, presented a plaque to the Llanelli Royal British Legion.
As part of the celebrations, local organisations including the Women’s Institute, cadets and Scouts had stalls in the Dockyard Chapel.
Children enjoyed an obstacle course supervised by soldiers from the 14th Signals. There were also weapons and military vehicles on show.
