POLICE are investigating a sudden death of a man at Withybush hospital on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the hospital at 3.45pm.
The 38-year-old is understood to be a member of staff.
Withybush Hospital Director, Dr Iain Robertson Steel, confirmed Hywel Dda University Health Board was working with police and the Coroner following an incident in hospital residences on Sunday August 21.
He said: “We have passed our sincere condolences to the family back in India and are also supporting staff at the hospital.”
A police spokeswoman said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the sudden death of a 38-year-old man, whose body was discovered at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest on Sunday, August 21. There are no suspicious circumstances. Next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed.”
