ANGLE RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat was launched on Monday afternoon, September 19, to assist a nine metre motor boat, which had run aground off Pwllcrochan Flats in the Milford Haven Waterway.
There were four people on board.
The Tamar class lifeboat Mark Mason was launched at 3.26pm. When she arrived on the scene the casualty had refloated and the owner was in the process of checking for damage.
With no reported damage or water ingress, the motor boat made her way to Neyland Marina escorted by the lifeboat.
With the casualty in the safety of the marina, the lifeboat was released to return to her station, where she was rehoused at 4.43pm.
