Stackpole closed in on Thomas Carroll Pembrokeshire League division three leaders Lamphey with a thrilling 15-run home win, after defending their total of 200 for 5.

Richard MacKay made 57, Lewis Gibby 76no and Chris Gibbs, who then claimed 3-40 as Lamphey finished on 185 for 7, with David Dredge (48) and James Skeels (33) top scoring.

Alan Webster took 4-20 as Pembroke (83-5) beat St Ishmaels II (79) by 5 wickets, and Llechryd Seconds (165-5) lost to Hook Seconds (166-3) by 7 wickets, with Jamie Phelps (82) top scoring for the visitors.

Ashoka Senavirathna made 66 as Haverfordwest Seconds (173-7) beat Burton Seconds (170) by 3 runs, and Alan Webster returned 4-20 as Pembroke (83-5) beat St Ishmaels Seconds (79) by 5 wickets.
