THE close-knit community of Cardigan is rallying for the cause of stricken rugby player Dylan Rees.
Rees, who suffered a terrible head injury 18 months ago, while playing rugby for Clwb Rygbi Cymru Caerdydd, is recuperating in the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where his dad Graham and mother Gwen have attended his bedside every day.
Dylan’s close friend Rhys Morgan is organising a fund-raising day that includes a rugby game and auction at Cardigan RFC on Saturday, October 25.
Former Wales and British Lions Brynmor Williams said: “Dylan needs our help and it is important we are there to offer it. His friends, led by Rhys Morgan, have worked so hard on this event and are determined to do all they can to assist on his road to recovery.”
