West Dragons 1
St Clears 4
A SUPERB hat-trick by Dan Ramsey sealed a thoroughly deserved victory over West Dragons at the Pavilion Field.
The Dragons are struggling and have yet to register a league point as they lost for the sixth time on the bounce and sit firmly at the bottom of the table.
However, the Saints picked-up their third win of the campaign, thanks to a sparkling treble from striker Ramsey.
After a goalless first period, the visitors broke the deadlock when Owain Evans nodded home at the far post from a pinpoint cross by Josh Jones.
Ten minutes later and Ramsey rose highest at a corner to score as his powerful header flew in off the post. The striker then added his side’s third goal with a vicious 30-yard strike that flew past keeper Richard Walters.
Ashton Plunkett pulled a goal back, the wide sided midfielder capitalised at a corner as the Saints failed to clear.
But Ramsey had the final say as the in-form striker got on the end of Kris Isaacs clever through ball to complete a personal treble, but more importantly secured the points as The Saints go marching on.
