WINNER of the Rosemarket Golf Club away day at the Grove Golf Club was Alex James with 37pts. Alex turned in an excellent round of golf carding three twos on hole 3, 7 and 12.
Runner-up was Martin Thomas with 36pts, third Lionel Morgan 33pts, fourth Kevin Holmes beating Clive Richards on count back with 32pts. Paul Smith was the other twos winner on hole 12.
The seniors’ two-day stableford overall winner was Vivian Thomas with 63pts beating Bill Wilson and Ron Nash on count back. Fourth was Paul Bowen with 32pts and fifth Mike Butler 61pts.
Raffle Medal winner with a nett 72 was Kevin Holmes, runner-up Luke Young nett 76, third Gary Lloyd nett 77, fourth John McLean nett 79, fifth Mark Lewis nett 80. John McLean recorded a two on hole 7 and 13.
Jon McKnight scored three twos on hole 7, 9 and 13 and won the Winter League competition on Sunday with 36pts. Runner-up was John Lewis 32pts. Third was Dave Pink who beat Clive Richards and Gary Lloyd on count back.
Ladies nine-hole competition winner was Rose Taylor, runner-up Sarah Browning. Junior winners were Alex Young 28pts, Michael Strand 28pts and Jack Butler 37pts.
