Monkton Swifts 2

Narberth 2

MONKTON Swifts dramatically came from two goals behind to salvage a draw with Narberth at Monkton Lane.

The visitors had a chance to win it right at the death when they were awarded a penalty that player boss Matthew Price took and he saw his effort from 12 yards brilliantly saved by Swifts goalkeeper Dan Roberts.

Both sides will probably be content at the final that they gained a precious league point each as they sit just above the relegation zone.

The visitors’ built-up au a two-goal cushion at half time, Price opened the scoring and right back Dorian Davies added a second goal from distance.

The Swifts got back in the game as Matthew Davies pulled a goal back and Daniel Scourfield equalised with an exquisite direct free-kick that flew in the top corner.
