Johnston 3

Angle 2

JACK Mills struck a late winner to secure an important win for Johnston against Angle at Glebelands.

The Tigers had twice come from behind and with the last play of the game, Jack Mills’ direct free-kick from the touchline, bounced in the box and evaded everyone as it flew in the far corner and stunned the visitors.

Connor Willis, 16, scored the opener for the visitors on the 25th minute mark, Liam Boswell equalised in the 60th minute, Lee Brockway made no mistake with a 65th minute penalty to regain the lead.

Ten minutes from full time and striker Adam Hawkins equalised with a header, after earlier heading against the crossbar.

Bang on full time Mills struck a late winner to pinch the points for the more than happy Tigers.
