JOHNSTON, Goodwick and the West Dragons are the only teams to boast a 100% record after the second round of matches in Division One.

After a difficult campaign last time around, The Tigers continued their resurgence with a 3-2 win at Herbrandston.

Luke Hayward, Scott Murray, and Steve Mills scored for the visitors, while Scott Reid struck twice for Herbie.

At Phoenix Park, Goodwick edged out Neyland 2-1, after the visitors took a first half lead when Justin Harding latched onto a long throw to finish past home keeper James Gwilt.

But on 55 minutes, Scott Delaney headed home a Johnny Horgan corner - and just moments later, Horgan himself outstripped the Neyland defence before firing a shot from the edge of the area that beat Nomads stand-in keeper Ollie Marshall.

The Dragons meanwhile, made it two from two with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Pennar, with player manager Matthew Price striking twice, and fellow newcomer Daniel Bryce also scoring.

The game of the night arguably came at The Obs, where Hakin United beat Merlins Bridge 5-4.

The Vikings led 4-0 at the break, thanks to a hat trick from Nicky Woodrow and Ben Steele strike.

Steele added another after the break, but the Bridge stormed back with two penalties from Peter Thomas and a brace from Terry McCombe.

And in a game where Hakin’s Matthew Broome and Bridge player Chris Ormond saw red after clashing in the second half, the Wizards had strong claims for a last gasp penalty turned down before The Vikings clung on.

Angle got their first points with a 2-1 win at St Clears.

Tom Powell and Craig Brockway got the goals for the visitors, while Steve Thomas struck for The Saints.

There were three penalties in the 2-2 draw between Milford United and Tenby at Marble Hall.
Joe Leahy put Tenby ahead from the spot, Brian Mathias then converted two of his own for The Robins, before Leahy levelled matters in the second half.

Finally, Carew had their first win back in Division One with a 3-0 win over Narberth.

Alex Bailey, Scott Ferney, and an own goal gave The Rooks the points.
