I MUST start by saying a very big thank you for all the support!

It has been awesome and I’m really sorry I can’t reply to everyone but I’m sure I’ll get to thank you all at some point over a beer.

It was great to get a first start on the weekend in what was a pretty tough game. We weren’t happy with how we started the game as we gave them quite a lead early in the match, going 13-0 down.

We were pretty gutted to come away with the draw and it felt like we’d lost the game in the changing room afterwards.

It meant a lot to me that my mother, father, brother and my cousin Brett, James and Mel were out in Dublin to support me. Thanks guys.

We flew back to Cardiff on Sunday night in what was the early onset of Storm Imogen. Fair play to her she made herself known. It was definitely a bumpy ride!

After getting back to the Vale, where we’re based for the duration of the Championship, we all headed to the team room to watch Super Bowl 50. A little bit underwhelming I think was the overall viewpoint. However we went on to play a little cards afterwards to unwind and I was very happy to claim a few coffees off Jon ‘Fox’ and Rhys Priestland!

There’s a big game coming up for Wales in Cardiff this Saturday. We need to make some ground on England now who are currently top of the table after beating Scotland. Hopefully I’ll be selected and will get a win against my old mucker John Barclay!

Talking of big games, Scarlets have a huge game themselves this Friday night with Edinburgh coming to the Parc. After the defeat to Connacht a couple of weeks ago the boys will be keen to get the momentum back and ensure that all-important top four spot. It’s a great way to get your rugby weekend up and running so make sure you head to the Parc and cheer the boys on!

Thanks again for the support and please stay safe in the storm. It’s pretty clean off to be fair! I have said it before but hold on to your wigs - a mistake my dad made a long time ago!
