Carew 1-3 Goodwick United

Champions Goodwick United picked up their first league win of the season at Carew.

In the 30th minute Adam Raymond broke the deadlock, the midfielder scoring with a delightful 30-yard free kick.

Ten minutes later and the visitors doubled the lead, Jordan Griffiths finishing from inside the box, just before the break the Rooks were reduced to ten-men when Corey Hill was sent off for a two footed tackle.

A couple of minutes after half time and the Rooks pulled a goal back, James Hinchliffe rifling his shot from six yards into the roof of the net.

Goodwick secured the points when they added a third goal ten minutes from full time, Robbie Jenkins spotted Tom Davies off his line, and duly chipped the keeper from at least 35 yards out.

Hakin United 10-0 Narberth

This game was totally one-way traffic as Hakin United scored ten goals without reply against poor Narberth at the Obs.

Ben Steele and Nicky Woodrow scored nine goals between the deadly pair, with James Stanmore also finding the back of the net.

The rout started in the 20th minute when Woodrow got on the ned of Stanmore’s cross, five minutes later and Woodrow finished Steele’s ball in the box, Steele drilled in from 18 yards for the third, Steele lashed in the fourth and just before the break Stanmore found the back of the net.

Steele scored the sixth  his treble, Woodrow struck a fierce volley for the seventh, bringing up his hat-trick, Steele added the eighth and ninth goals and right at the end Woodrow struck goal number ten

Johnston 4-0 Monkton Swifts

Ryan Doyle scored a brace to help Johnston to a comfortable victory against Monkton Swifts at home.

Striker Doyle opened the scoring in the 25th minute that gave the Tigers a one-goal cushion at half time. Ten minutes after the break and Doyle slotted home the second, on the hour mark Liam Boswell’s shot cum cross sailed into the net. A couple of minutes later and Andrew Murray drilled in from 12 yards. Ryan Codd and Ryan Gainfort, both 16, played well for the hosts who secured their first win of the campaign.

Lamphey 2-0 Neyland

Lamphey have had an excellent start to the season, and maintained their good form with a two-goal victory at home against Neyland.

Last season’s Division Two outfit are currently third in the table with nine points from a possible 12. “This has been cracking start to season,” said Lamphey manager Alan Kitts. “I would have been happy with six points after four games, but to have nine is fantastic.”

Sam Southcott scored the opener in the 15th minute from the penalty spot, in the 35th minute the hosts added a second, again Southcott finished clinically, receiving a through ball by Josh Sture and striking a shot in the far corner.

Merlins Bridge 0-0 West Dragons

West Dragons came away from the Racecourse with a draw against derby neighbours Merlins Bridge and go a point clear at the top of the table.

The visitors created the better scoring chances but Scott Crawford, Nathan Greene and Ashley Williams failed to find a way past Wizards goalkeeper Gary Thomas.

The Bridge had their moments and will be disappointed that Chris Ormond was sent off near the end of the game, the centre back has only recently returned from a three-match suspension.

Milford United 4-1Pennar Robins

A stunning second half hat-trick by Dani Raicu earned Milford United victory against Pennar Robins at Marble Hall.

The visitors led one-nothing at the break, but things changed in the second period as Raicu, a striker who is from Romania claimed a stunning hat-trick that gave the Robins some breathing space.

Substitute Taku Padiwa was on target with a fourth goal that secured the Robins’ first win of the season.

Tenby picked up their second win of the season with a ten-goal demolision over Angle at the Clicketts.

The Seasiders in this kind of form will take some stopping, Sam Christopher and Jordan Richards scored four goals apiece and Jack Christopher scored a brace, Nick Willis scored the visitors only goal of the game.
